Club HistoryDeeside Amateur Athletic Club was founded in 1974 by Tudor and Ann Williams who, together with a handful of talented local athletes, decided to take advantage of the cinder track facilities of Kelsterton College, Connah's Quay, and create an athletics club. The early years of the club were formative, but soon Deeside A.A.C. developed into a team which was capable of competing with the best in the country.
The club has grown steadily with many new faces welcomed on board over the years. Since 1998, the facilities the club offers are of international standard - a long way from those early days of a cinder track and a wooden hut!
